You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new software and services business within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Your customer base will include scientists, departmental management, and pharma/biotech executives. In addition, you’ll interact closely with Schrödinger’s applications scientists, members of the senior management team, and other account managers working in a strong team environment. This position provides a unique and exciting opportunity to interact closely with some of the most prominent scientists and executives in our industry.

 

Territory will be accounts in New York, New Jersey and the Midwest.

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing client relationships at the executive level and will have operational oversight for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. The KAM works together with Professional Services and Strategic Product Unit to build a key account plan and is responsible for client management based on the plan. This position requires an individual who possesses a unique blend of consulting delivery, business development and global leadership skills.

A successful individual in this role will have the ability to solve customer’s business and technical problems by utilizing ArisGlobal’s product and service capabilities. This individual must have extremely good communication skills and be able to meet with Clients during the Engagement cycle. This individual will need to have, or gain, a broad range of experience with ArisGlobal’s (AG) Services and Products and be able to define (with help from each of the Competencies) how AG can deliver and meet the Client's regulatory, safety and clinical requirements.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the total account management plan which includes the identification of sales and consulting opportunities at the client sites globally, positioning ArisGlobal product and service offerings, and managing overall customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities within the assigned account scope:

 Building "trusted advisor" relationships with assigned customers by solving their business and technology problems.

 Business Development – responsible for building trusted client relationships and driving revenues within the assigned account scope by being the owner of the entire Opportunity Management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close. This involves identifying business opportunities, selling concepts to the client where required and influencing the client to give additional business based on demonstrated capability and past performance.

 Manage client expectations and communications flow as it relates to production and internal project teams; negotiate and resolve high level client issues.

 Identify decision makers and influencers within a complex client organizational structure.

 Conduct research as well as competitor analysis, executive-level and large group client presentations
