Role Description:

Our customer base and marketing efforts are expanding as 3D Printing continues to grow at a rapid pace.  We require a Business Development Manager in the United States to support our sales efforts to new customers for our 3D Printing Machine Control software.  Materialise has an industry leading reputation for providing cutting-edge products and solutions to established 3D Printing Equipment Manufacturers.  Recent advancement and market conditions have attracted more companies to enter the 3D Printer hardware business.   A motivated individual is needed to hunt down opportunities to partner with these companies as a software solution provider and consultant.  These opportunities are expected to come from diverse industries including; CNC, 2D Printing, Injection Molding and startups.

Primary Responsibilities:

A critical part of the sales process involves communicating features and applications effectively, demonstrating our expertise and interacting with customers to illustrate our solutions.  The Business Development Manager will work to develop sales leads, build relationships with customers and act as a representative of Materialise at industry events and meetings.  This person will be responsible for achieving a sales target and accurately forecasting sales.  This position will require overnight travel.
