Job Description

 The Inside Sales Associate will have the opportunity to join a team of sales professionals consistently meeting goals and making quota. This rapidly growing organization is in need of a highly motivated individual who looks forward to the challenge of engaging new prospects, demoing our software, and helping to grow our business.  The Inside Sales Associate will sell our BigMachines Express solution for growing, mid-sized businesses.

The Inside Sales Associate will report to the Inside Sales Manager and will work closely with multiple teams in the BigMachines Express group.  They will ensure the company's long-term success by driving immediate sales. A successful Inside Sales Associate will have the opportunity to grow into more senior roles within the company, which is committed to promoting talent from within.

  • Drive sales of BigMachines Express solutions and services into growing, mid-sized businesses (100-500 employees)
  • Relationship building: provide excellent service and be primary contact for prospective customer until close of sale
  • Demo our software to prospective customers
  • Use BigMachines marketing tools and Salesforce.com CRM system to manage prospective customers
  • Generate leads. Responsible for targeting and identifying sales opportunities
  • Learn about what drives growth for our customers & prospects, and communicate how BigMachines Express can help them grow and improve their business processes
  • Negotiate deals from inception to close
  • Work as the account executive for BigMachines Express customers
  • Follow defined sales processes for follow-up and tracking of all leads
  • Build partner relationships to leverage partner sales teams and field programs
  • Represent BigMachines at partner and industry events and trade shows
  • Offer ideas and recommendations to help to improve our sales processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all BigMachines security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job duties
  • Participate in security training provided by BigMachines
  • Report any potential security weakness, exposure or suspicious indications to manager

Job Requirements


  • Extremely hardworking, motivated and eager to learn
  • Passion to evangelize powerful new technologies and new ways of doing business
  • Ability to quickly learn about BigMachines’ web-based software solutions and how these can meet customer needs
  • Ability to navigate company contacts to find the right point of sale. Terrific networker
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally
  • Desire and ability to meet and exceed quota consistently
  • Desire to move into enterprise sales position or other customer facing roles encouraged (we promote from within!)
  • BS/BA from a reputable college or university
  • Prior selling and/or customer facing experience preferred, but not required 

This position provides a base salary plus commission.
